West Midlands Team Triumph in the Davenport Salver

Huge congratulations go out to the BGC West Midlands Team on winning the Davenport Salver at South Staffs GC on Sunday.

72 pairs competed for the Cup from the 36 clubs affiliated to the league from all over the West Midlands.

Scott Morgan & Matt Pratley made a great start scoring 68 in the morning session with Captain Phil Robson & Nigel Hopkins adding an impressive 64 to the combined score in the afternoon play.

This is the first time BGC has won this competition since its inauguration in the early 60's.
